SIMON-NOW I KNOW HOW TO SMILE!

"I can smile now" - Rescued minues b4 euthanized.

Pet Parent: Penny Sherek    Entrant #: 0503850

After being severely mistreated/abused I was rescued from a high kill shelter right before being euthanized. I was broken. It took almost 1.5 years to be happy again, but with support from foster parents and patience I am now a happy dog and my foster parents are now my adoptive parents. I still don't like going in public places, but am learning that too! Every day is a new day and I smile more. My rescue org will receive any monies won should I win to honor my rescue!

I stopped by & cast vote #16. Please vote for me and Lab Rescue of the LRCP. I'm the unofficial Lab Rescue mascot, attending their fundraising events to educate people about the importance of rescuing dogs & urging people not to overlook the special needs dogs (I can't see the world with my eyes, but I certainly see it with my heart!) LR rescues and finds loving homes for more than 600 Labs each year (www.lab-rescue.org). ‘Thanks’!! -Teddy #0500177
